Does anyone know where I can get more information (i.e. pricing, time, etc.) about getting my shotgun "dipped" so that it is refinished in Max 4 camo pattern? I heard that having your gun coated will help prevent rusting or weathering? Any info would help, thanks.

There is a guy in Florence, Ms who works for US govt. dipping thier guns. He teflon coats them. It's not camo but you can mix match black, green, and biege anyway you like to. It is very good.

if you are looking for camo and you are in oxford i would run into a very helpful place called HUNTERS HOLLOW, j/k on the helpful part, but ask them how much it would be to get it sent off the factory and get it dipped there. just a suggestion had a frined who had to do it at a store in B'ham. good luck.

I have had guns dipped at
http://www.duracoatinc.com and they do a great job. They are one of the places that dip "for the factory." You cannot get the trigger guard done by any of the "dippers."

Just to let yall know an update - Hunter's Hollow in Oxford quoted a complete shotgun paint job at $250 and the Duracoat Inc. in Georgia told me they would do a complete shotgun with return shipping for $180 (both in Max 4 camo pattern).
Thanks for the responses...

Walter Birdsong only does Black and Green. I talked with him about a month or so ago and he said it is just a rumor that he is doing tan. But he does an excellent job on the teflon. It is a sprayed on coating that is baked to dry.
this is the best guy i know off
