Jackon Motor Sports and Freddy Monsour

Postby lmcmillan » Fri May 18, 2007 6:54 am

Well, my ordeal with Jackson Motor Sports continues. After I submitted a formal letter of complaint to Suzuki about my problem with Freddy Monsour, Suzuki called me to see if I submitted a copy of my complaint to Freddy. They wanted him to have a copy of the letter when they called to discuss it with him. I let the guy at Suzuki know I would get that to Freddy the next day. I printed a copy and drove it over to Freddy' shop. I knew immediately when Freddy saw me he was not happy. I handed him a copy of the letter and let him know Suzuki wanted him to have a copy of my complaint letter so he could read over it before Suzuki called. What happened next was beyond by belief. Freddy never looked at the letter, he just tore it to shreds and started threatening me and forced me off the property. He was shaking his fists, spitting and could not see straight. On several occasions I truly thought I was going to have to defend myself against this man. Now this is truely no way a man of any integrity would act. Things must be going really bad for Freddy Monsour and Jackson Motor Sports if he can fly off the handle that easily. If Freddy does not want to make things right with what he did to me thats fine, but I have lots of energy to focus towards him and let everyone know what kind of man he really is and how he runs his business.

I'd write Suzuki another letter about the next encounter.

Well I called them and spoke with the guy that called me. He said this was out of his ballpark now and he was going to turn it over to someone higher up.

Glad you have the energy to keep the pressure on them. I have a bad experience there myself. If you don't get any resolution let me know. I'll send them my dissaproval letter as well..

I encourage anyone who has ever had a bad experience with Jackson Motor Sports to call Suzuki @ 714-996-7040 and tell them your story. There are a few prompts to go through but it has been easy evertime to get someone on the phone. I have called four for five times now.

It is a long story but the short of it is. He had my bike for six weeks. No one could tell me what was wrong, how much it would cost or when it would be done. He never quotes the job before he starts and you can not get any info over the phone because he does not have a service manager and the girls that answer the phone can not read the tickets. After getting my bike back and paying $713, the repairs did not work and I had to pay someone else another $700 to repair it again the correct way. When I told Freddy about it he called me a lair.

man.......deal with it.........quit complainin'
let's see...you are upset because he asked you to leave his dealership after you handed him a letter criticizing his business. a letter, mind you, that you have sent to one of his parent vendors. i think i'd have done the same thing.

I would keep doing exactly what you're doing. My dad is doing the same thing regarding the Harley dealership here in Horn Lake. If they want to screw you around call em on it and let everyone know.

i disagree....it is a business owner's duty to make
the customer happy. I get mad sometimes but i have to
keep things in a professional manner. Acting like that
just makes someone lose more respect for you.

He is "dealing with it". If this guy has a track record of screwing people then he needs to be shut down. That is probably why he got so hostile because lmcmillan called him out on it. An honest businessman would have given the man his money back or done something besides calling the customer a liar.

Tell you what Gilreath, why dont you give me the $713 and we will call it a day. Forget about all my time wasted dealing with people that just dont care about the customer and my time hauling my 4-wheeler all over town and back and forth from camp because it broke down again. Sounds like I am getting under your skin too just like Freddy. It is people like you that give me all this energy to do what is right.

definately not partners with him.
just sounds to me like Freddy might whoop that arss if you come up there hastlin' him some more.
Look....i hate that you feel like you got shafted, hell, i've been shafted, too..
But your $713.00, and your bike, are not how you make your living.
However, his business is all that he has; and he is defending it. HE personally did not work on your wheeler. Though HE is responsible for his shops' poor customer service, leave it be. Learn from it, and go somewhere else. I'm sure he has learned his lesson (you made your point). Take it as a mistake, and try to get your wheeler fixed somewhere else next time.
