Knife?

What's your favorite knife? Both for general every day use, and for hunting/game cleaning.

I've got a Benchmade with a pretty stiff blade that I carry everywhere. Half straight and half serrated.

My buddy has a fixed blade serrated knife that he cleans deer with. There in no comparison to how much faster it is than my "nice" deer skinning knife (custom knife btw). The first thing on my list of stuff I really need is a fully serrated knife.

Benchmade or Lone Wolf folders w/1/2 serrations. I have not seen a fully serrated knife in a long time.

Large/small? Classic/regular?

How well does the s30v hold an edge when cleaning deer, and how hard is it to sharpen?

I've got several. (I guess it's genetic because my grandfather was the same way. :? )

Right now, I've an Uncle Henry pen knife in my pocket.
On my days off, I carry a Swiss Army Knife.
When hunting, I carry a Buck or a Gerber.

(I used to carry an Edge Brand from Germany, until I found out how much it would cost to replace that sucker if ever it got lost.  Now, it's relegated to storage, along with my Boy Scout knife.)
Nobody owes you anything.

It has been discontinued. If I had to get one now I'd get the mini-rukus. I had knives that were sharper but never one that was tougher. Mine has 154cm steel which has always done good by me. I 'm not sure what rockwell hardness but I think the home page has that info. Great knives.
