Deadliest Catch
Anyone else hooked on this show. New Season starts tomorrow. I agree that those guys have got a tough job, something like 100% chance of getting hurt on the job.

Sig's all business and def. the best fisherman. But for shear entertainment factor Captain Phil Harris of the Cornelia Marie gets my vote. He's a chain smoking hard core crab fisherman with ice water in his veins. I woulda pissed my pants if I had got the boat lost in the ice last year like he did...........I also like Hiram Johnson. He's a deckhand on the Maverick and a little nutty- like most of those guys.
If I were going to do it, the Northwestern is where i would go definately. I agree that the show is addicting, and the first episode is called "a tragic beginning." I wonder who goes overboard. I'm guessing is that it is a rookie.

Discovery channel actually did a documentary a few years ago about crabbing and Capt. Sig was the consultant and featured capt. He is still listed on the credits for consultanting or something.
I believe they will feature a new boat and crew this year. i agree with the pposts above about favorite deckhands and captains.
