Did anybody see the guy fishin the Bassmasters Classic catch two 3-4 bass on one cast. I don't know what kind it was but had two trebal hooks on it. Thats when you know its your day. Incredible!!

It was Tim Horton from Alabama and it was his 2nd cast of the day. That was somthing to talk about.

did you see Swindle get DQ'd. When he went through those people doing about 70mph, I thought he would be in serious trouble!

The guy motioned for him to come on through. The videographer turned him in. Sorta like imbedded reporters in Iraq. They need to video what they're supposed to video and forget the rest.

Exactly, Those guys when fishing in tight quarters such as that will motion each other through. Yes, it may have been fast, but boats put off a HELL of a lot smaller wake going that fast than it does going real slow. Neither competitor thought anything about it.

I like Swindle but I don't agree with what he did. I saw several other spectator boats out there, I know what you mean about the wake sizes. The tournament director said he should have idled all the way through them. I bet he would have if he knew that damn camera was rollin'.

The guy from Demopolis won, Duckett I think. Landed a six or seven pound hog late in the afternoon that clinched it.

Swindle was DQ'd because of all the spectator boats. That's the way I read it anyway. Everybody knows that he's gonna throw a smaller wake if he's on plane. And obviously he wasn't going to slow down all the way to idle. Not sure why he didn't just go around.

Like both anglers said they didn't think anything about it. As for spectator boats they need to get back out odf the way. Yeah Swindle should have slowed down but it is sad that a camera man can end a guys tournament. It would have been different if Howell would have complianed. Just my 2 cents.

as soon as swindle sped past...you could hear Howell say "he shouldn't have done that"

He was caught up in the moment.....got what he deserved.

To DQ a guy for what in essence was a traffic violation is absurd. BASS must have school board members writin their rules.
