First run for the boys, the geese were moving fast across the field in the wind and by the time we got thre most had fed a good ways off. Asked Duncan if he wanted to try those that were about 70 yards away and he said sure - 2-3/4" shells, 3/4 ounce of steel 2s put his first two snows on the ground and the other msducksers put the rest away.

Those cheesburgers got plenty energy, now y'all help dad look for more geese...

Image

Crawled a disced field, using a terrace for cover...Duncan could stay as low bent over as us fat old guys could do on our bellies and had to keep him reeled back (needed a check cord)...the boys took it to the plug with the rest of us and helped pick up a few (even nbkiller don't stand a chance against these two boys picking up birds)...

Heading back to the truck after an "almost"...

Image

Duncan took a stroll see if he could find any geese (running like Mrs. Heather had the paintball gun again)...

Image

Finders keepers...Forrest picked up the banded interphase last shoot of the weekend...

Big thanks to Adam and David! Had a great time!

...and, Adam, that rattling that may develop in the vacuum cleaner? Might have something to do with the 'wonder how many bb's are in a shotshell' experiment the boys conducted one night  .

Great pics Ramsey, that was a beautiful interphase that Forrest picked up. Great job. I know them boys were tried after a long weekend. I know that you didn't want to hunt with NO Band Stan this weekend, and put his band jinx on us so that you wouldn't get none of it, and it looks like it worked out for Forrest.
