Joe, no matter how that game ended, but Saints accomplished a lot this year. I am with you in that is kills me to see them loose, but they were on cornerback away from putting that game away in the third quarter. Then it just got out of hand from there.

The most true statement there could be!!! Fred Thomas needs to RETIRE!! WHY put him in there PERIOD, EVERYONE knows that EVERY team out there TARGETS HIM!!
I'm so pissed off and upset I don't know what to do. Actually, I don't know why, I mean year after year it's the same thing. I guess I had a little to much hope this year!! Oh well, I guess I'll have to wait 7 more months to get back into it!
GOOD LUCK NEXT YEAR GUYS!!!!!!!!!!

I thought the Saints did ok seeing the weather problems and the fact the referees seemed to be Bears fans. Lot of young talent on that team if they can hold it all together. This is one time that "wait and see next year" may have something behind it?

I agree with Jeff and everyone else, even Big Gumbo(I was 7y/o then!

) They are poised to be a good team for years to come. A few changes like getting rid of Fred Thomas for one will help them even further. I am proud of "Dem Who Dat's" for sure. Just wished they could have won one more!

God how Roman Harper getting hurt in the fourth week of the season hurts now, we sure could have used him, Joe Horn wouldn't have hurt either.

every team could use a guy from bamas defense last year, just ask drew about mark anderson they met up close and personal or the texans about demeco ryans.

The Saints, as a team, only had 12 rushing attempts the entire game. Of those 12 attempts, Deuce only had 6 rushes.

I think despite how much it's played down, playing outside in that weather hurt the Saints! I just can't believe it otherwise....

also, the Saints better get a real cover corner to go with McKenzie next year...and they need to 86 Micheal Lewis...other than that, they are pretty good for another run I think

I think they need to get one more big time WR or another WR with a lot of potential. Brees could have used some more targets in the 4th quarter when most of the routes they were running were getting covered well. I jus thave to believe a seasoned WR would have broken open a few times.

The Saints, as mentioned above, need a cover corner. I am not sure what the draft holds this year as far as lockdown corners, so maybe free agency could be in order or perhaps a trade. I know Ken Lucas of Cleveland Eastside and Ole Miss fame fell in the Panthers doghouse this year and ended up playing behind a rookie. Perhaps a fresh start is in order. He is very good when on his game and could be traded for without losing a whole lot.
Their run blocking was also horrible yesterday.
The NFC doesn't look to be much different next year, so maybe they can get back...but then again they are the Saints so it is just as likely they will finish 4-12.
Are they coming back to Jackson for training camp?
