Sick Dog

Fellas this has been one hell of a day.
Browndogg is not doing well at all. I know our season is out, but right now all I care about is being able to get my dogg healthy.
I am not looking for pitty, but maybe someone else has had a similar experience. It is not Parvo, and the blood was too thick from the dehydration to do full labs yesterday. Hopefully we'll knwo more by the end of the day.
This is the email I sent out to my family.
I know there is nothing y'all can do, I just needed to share.
I thought it might help.
SBE - they'll have to bury me beside her

Just a heads up.
For those of you who don't know, Browndogg is REALLY sick. We carried her to the vet last night with severe dehydration and some horrible of anal leakage. She had lost about 5 lbs from the day before, and was reacting to painful stimuli only. She took two liters of fluid and was raising her head and responding to my voice by the time I left the vet's office last night. The vet took her home with her last night to keep watch on her.
Today is a little better. A&Ox4. (alert & oriented to person, place, time, condition/circumstance)
The vets office is trying to put a line in right now, and Browndogg is putting up a hell of a fight. Hopefully this means she is feeling better. This could also mean the infection has damage to the nerves in that area and she cannot feel the pain.
The fluid and other mess is still leaking from her rear end, but has slowed some.
I hate to be too optimistic, but if you could have seen the lifeless dog we carried into the vet’s office yesterday evening, you would see this is a great improvement.
Her chances of recovery or even surviving have not increased. The drugs and fluids are making her seem better on the outside, but something is still really messed up on the inside. The next 36 hours are critical, and we are playing the waiting game. I don’t know which is harder.
From here, only time will tell.
I know y’all are as worried as we are, and we will let you know if we hear anything else.
There is big fight in this little dog !
Keep thinking of us.
Love you all.
