Van's Sporting Goods

Postby peewee » Tue Aug 20, 2002 9:43 pm

Hey you boys around Jackson, I thought I heard a commercial saying Vans has financing avaliable. Did anyone else hear that. Just want to make sure my ears weren't hearing things.

Pee Wee, I was over at Van's on Saturday and bought a trolling motor from the man. I spoke with him about a few different things, anyway he did mention that he is getting ready to have some sort of no interest sale starting here in the near future. Don't know how many months no interest nor do I know what all he is putting on sale, but I do remember him saying he's having a sale soon. I don't know if you've ever been over there or not, but he's got a heap of stuff in that building of his ~ tons of hunting clothes, fishing poles, muzzleloaders, scopes, accessories, u name it! That building is crammed up with stuff from one side to the next, and I can't help but think he's got to clear alot of that stuff out (a whole lot at that!) if he is going to make room for fall inventories. Based on all this, i'd say your chances of finding anything you could possible need, at a damn good price, are as good as it gets around the Jackson area. Then again, you COULD ease on over to Hadad's for the best selection, lowest prices, and friendly service....NOT, NOT AND NOT! LOL

Just found their # and called them. They said the no interest financing sale started Sept. 2 and ran through Dec. 12 months no interest.

I can see a new gun in my future.

Exactly where is Van's located?
I love to watch the ducks circle and the dogs work.

I have bought a gun from them every year for the past four years and I will get a Ithaca 37 this year.
12 months no interest and I pay it off in 10 months every year. It's great

Van is way up there on the customer service list. I highly recommend his store. They may not ask you if you need help but if you ask one of them they will get help to you in minutes. Store has way too much in it as it is hard to move in but dang what a great place I could spend a years salary in there with no problem.

Hey Hung Up,
Do you think an escaped prisoner from the correction facility, would make a pit stop at Vans to get loaded up on his way out of town? Warden might have to let out 'ol Red.

Thought it was funny to read your directions.

i also saw where surplus city has 12 months no interest but the only thing was it had to be minimum $300 purchase. i was in there a few weeks ago and they had a fair selection. they have tons of reloading crap as well as a nice gun selection.
why worry when you can panic!
