You lucky dog you. Do you have season tickets. I was hoping to get tickets from a friend to go to this race but that didn't pan out. Next stop for me and my ole lady Talladega. I found out tonight at Wally World we might be rednecks. I saw a Redneck card that said if you know the back way to Talladega you might be a redneck.
Oh yeah, Bristol Bumpin, 29 needs to be on your fantasy team.
Yep, I have season tickets and have had them for about 3 yrs now. Same seats for both the spring and night races (in turn 1 looking straight down the front stretch pits). We stay in Gatlinburg and drive over to Bristol. It's about a 90 mile trip so it's not too bad.
I'll be at 'Dega in October. I'm taking my 8 yr old (a Jeff Burton fan) to his first race over there. My 13 yr old (Matt Kenseth fan) is going with me to Bristol. As you can tell, we're a Roush Racing family. The 13 yr old has been to the spring race three times but this will be his first night race. There is NOTHING like Bristol at night!!! WOW!!
The guys that run that track are big duck hunters. Have shared some hunting with them a couple of years o. They had some good timber hunting in Missouri and we swapped some Arkie rice field hunting.
Canton Coot Killer
Never understood the appeal of racing. I would rather watch PBR. Some say they go in a circle just like the cars but at least it's only 8 seconds and not 3 hours.
There's a reason it's called fishin'& huntin' instead of catchin'& killin'
I agree i sho like the pbr but that tnn [ought to be the nerd network] you have 18hr's star trek and pbr on at 12 am.They put on the hunting show's at a time when hunter's are in the field pbr after mid night. If they don't want to carry the program's that were there from the git go then givem to someone else and show nutten but trek and robot war's.
