Postby Ducks be us » Fri Dec 01, 2006 4:12 pm

Thinkin' of hitting St. Nick up for a wader dryer this year...Y'all have any experience with em. How much? Where did ya get em? Do they really dry out your waders overnight? Brand name?

Y'all have a nice day

ive got the electric peet dryers and they work great. we had a guy completely submerge this past weekend and filled his waders up. when we got back to the camp he put them on the dryer and they were completely dry for him to wear on the afternoon hunt. well worth the $45

Use a blow dryer, it WILL dry your waders in about 10 mins per boot.
It's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.

we just get PVC pipe, drill holes all the way up it, cut the part that is gonna be on the boot at an angle and put them over a vent. works wonders and that way you can ask santa for something else

I did the same thing except put a T joint in the middle and put a hair dryer in it. Takes about 30 minutes.

Peet.

Have used Peet electric dryers for about 10 years and they work great. I have a Cabela's brand now, but it's the same style as Peet. Probably is a Peet. Cabela's gets a lot of stuff with their name on it that is made by someone else.

'Nother vote for the Peet electric boot dryers. Got one last year and I'll tell you, I've gotten out of some cold, wet waders, but haven't put any on since I got the Peet.

Peet, for sure. With a family's worth of waders, Santa needs to drop of a couple more here too.
