Can anyone tell me how to adjust the sensitivity of a ruger 270. I called Ruger and they told me it would have to be done at their factory. From what I've read on here, I'd rather not send it to them.
Thanks gentlemen..

I assume you are talking about trigger sensitivity. If so, try Swann's gun repair on Old Canton Road, next to the JPD police precinct building across the street from the Walgreens. If anyone can do it, he can. I get all my gun work done there, he does excellent work. He has done 3 trigger jobs for me.

I took a Ruger 270 to Swann's for a trigger job a few years back, and they did an excellent job.

He is a great guy to boot.
I used to cut his yard when he lived in Clinton many, many years ago.

Guys correct me if im wrong, but I was under the impression that the only ruger trigers that could be adjusted were on their older rifles. The ones with the slide safety instead of the 3 stage safety rifles.
I guess this is my understanding from what I got from a dealer who told me that ruger could have taken over the market if they wouldn't have gotten away from adjustable triggers. However they may have changed this now.
If this isn't true, please correct this myth in my head.
