Who's hunting this coming weekend? I swear, if it wasn't the first time I was able to go I wouldn't even think of it. Approaching near record highs all through the week and the lows are going to be in the high 60's. And to top it all off...a full moon for Sat! How exciting! Will I be the only fool hunting?

I was going up until you said full moon, now I am not so sure. :( I will probably go Sat afternoon just to ck my food plots and see what is on my trailcam. If I have a good buck on the camera, then I will definately hang on the side of a tree the rest of the afternoon.

Ahh, the elusive split tail. You know an old man once told me, "Son, Deer hunting is alot like reading playboy magazine. Those big racks are out there but they're few and far between, easier to spot than to get one of your own, and if you are lucky enough to get one than it usually costs quite a bit to mount it."

The playboy part made me think of the way some one related deer hunting \ cleaning the animal to me a few years ago.

"Pulling the trigger on a deer is a lot like jerking off.
Once you've done it, you've got a mess on your hands.
