I am in Church every Sunday 10 months out of the year. The other 2 months, I am in a duck blind. Leave my Sundays alone!
So many ducks, so little time....

"We feel the public is entitled to at least one bullet-free day to stroll through the woods," says Jack Clarke of the Massachusetts Audubon Society.

I'd like to see a bullet free day period in Mempho they can pick the day

Hard for me to drive 6 hours back and make it for Sunday A.M. services. But I always make it back for Sunday P.M. services!

Forget lifting the Sunday ban in those states, just open it up for non resident hunting.. We all can go up there and help them thin out the population..

Seriously though, that is just crazy.. Coming from South Tx.. where the only blue law is you can't buy beer on Sunday until after noon.. It is hard for me to get used to these blue laws...

What happened to the seperation between the church and state. I bet some of these states would freak if you put the 10 Commandments in their courthouse. Somehow they are able to dictate not being able to hunt on the Sabbath. I think it is complete BS not to be able to hunt on Sunday. What is more insulting is that they open up sunday hunting if there are too many deer; they don't open it up at the wishes of the hunters. Kinda like we will let you hunt just so you can help us. If you cant help us then no hunting on Sunday.

i didnt even know that some states outlawed it.....wow...makes me even more proud to be a Mississippi hunter.....

did you also notice that almost all the comments were pro hunting on sundays...except one....leave it to the most liberal state in the union....

I don't know who's doing the counting, but doesn't the non-hunting public get to stroll throughthe woods, sans "bullets", all year long minus hunting season? :?: :?

Well, I will have to disagree with most of you. Sunday is the Lord's day, all day, every Sunday of the year. Of course, I have my opinion just like yall, we will just have to agree to disagree on this one.

My dad is a preacher and has been for all 28 years of my life. I would still 'tote a whoopin' if he caught me hunting or fishing on Sunday's.

As a Virginia native, I grew up with the old blue law of no hunting on Sunday. Here's a sampling of what you can do on Sundays in Virginia:

- Fish, to include killing the fish.
- Shop in the malls that are rapidly overunning the state. Buy a video game where you can entertain yourself by gunning down another person with the "blood on" option.
- Go watch kill movies at your local theater.
- Purchase and consume alcohol in many counties.
- Go to a porn shop and buy skin books and dirty movies, depending on county.

Go figure.
