Just reached the ripe ole age of 40 Sunday. Whew it was tough getting there. Hurt like heck reaching it but I guess getting older is a heck of alot better than not.......know what I mean! Happy Birthday! At 40 your body ain't what it used to be. But, I can tell you, at 50 it will remind you everyday! Like my Daddy used to say..You probably ain't as good as you once were, but you're as good once as you ever were! Kinda neat when you have as much behind you as you do in front of you, huh. Feels kinda balanced! Thsoe young boys with too much future left are way too revved up!

The things I could do at 40.

I could hunt all day and play all night. Now I can only go for half a day and back to bed by 1:00.
