I got a question for Gordon. What is the word with UGA fans and the QB situation. Are they wanting to see more of Cox or stick with Stafford. I beleive those two both can be very good QBs and will battle it out for a while. At least this is a problem Richt is familiar with.

2 factions...One wants Stafford the other Cox.... They'll see them both this weekend...The fans pulling for Cox are looking for the next Herschel I'm afraid...and I'm afraid they're expecting too much.... If we ever see another frosh. that is as physically impressive and mature as Herschel again I'll be shocked....
Me personally I wanted to see Stafford redshirt this year and spend a year learning the system (apparently he already knows it better since last winter than Blake Barnes does
)...Stafford has all the tools in the world but I worry about his head...last week he made the comment that Colorado lined up in some defenses that he had not seen, such is the life of a true frosh. in Div. 1 football...Cox is an entire season of studying film ahead of him, so he has a little better grasp of whats going on.....
Cox made the players repsond last week...he walked out into the huddle and "told the team we have 15 minutes to score two touchdowns and that is easy for us to do. If we cannot do that, then we do not deserve to have the “G†on our helmets"...whether the same stuff will apply this week I don't know....
All things considered we probably won't know a Starter until Friday at the earliest....However, Kregg Lumpkin has gotten what he deserved and will be the starting tailback....
