MS Duck season?

This has probaly already been asked...but I am really bored at work. When does the state commision meet to set the exact dates for the season?

I believe it is in mid october. A game warden told me that last week. He also said he had heard nothing about a shortened season or a smaller bag limit.

I read the other day in the Sun Herald that they are planning on meeting late this month. From what I read in the article, we got the 60/6 season. Teal is Sept. 21-28 this year. Early Canada goose opens on Sept. 1. If I recall correctly the meeting is to decide if the season is a single or double split and that, I believe, will be the determining factor for opening day.
