If I recall correctly I remember seeing on the back of one of my duck stamps that it serves as a permit on all state waterfowl refuges or something like that. Can anyone verify this and does this mean if I want to take someone one time to Hillside or Panther Swamp that they wont be required to purchase the 12 use permit? Please shed some light

You have to buy the permit.

I've read that somewhere too, and I believe a current federal stamp will get you into federal parks. Like Yellowstone. You still have to buy a permit to access Hillside or Mathews Brake.

You definately must purchase the refuge permit to gain access to any refuges governed by the Yazoo National Wildlife Complex!
