Spendy: Kentucky (21). Expenses: $7.8 million. Victories: 2. Cost per victory: $3.9 million. Red ink or black: The Wildcats made a $12.2 million profit on football.
Thrifty: Georgia (22). Expenses: $12.5 million. Victories: 10. Cost per victory: $1.25 million. Red ink or black: The Bulldogs made a $38.4 million profit on football.
Auburn (23). Expenses: $16.4 million. Victories: 13. Cost per victory: $1.26 million. Red ink or black: The Tigers made a $24.2 million profit on football.

The interesting thing to me...by a longshot UGA and Auburn had the largest profit of any team listed...$38.4 million and $24.2 million respectively.
