teal season: 9/21 to 9/29 4 daily limit
goose season: 9/1 to 9/15 5 daily limit
and yes I am one who will hunt the majority of the days available....I hunted the least I have ever hunted last year because I transferred stores and had to open a new retail store....Year before last, I hunted all but 2 days...

i'm fortunate enough to get to hunt about as many days as my body will hold uo too.... that is why a limit everyday doesn't matter to me... but for those who only get to hunt a weekend or two, i don't have any hard feelings about you doing what is neccesary {if its legal} to have success... i love to see a smile on a hunters face at the end of a hunt.... don't take a full game bag to make me happy... them sunrises and sunsets work pretty good...

I just got the word. Sixty days and six ducks. The season can run through January 26, 2003, which is the last Sunday in January.

Man, I hope you are right!!! I am one of the unfortunate ones that only gets the chance to hunt on the weekend and holidays. All I was hoping for was a long season so that I would have more chances to go hunting. The season could have been 60 and 3 for all I care, I am just happy to hear about the days and the late season.

Hambone,
What is your source? I have yet to get a solid answer and was just wondering how you came by the information.

Now that we know the season dates let's just hope the ducks and the weather cooperate!!

I am like Haymaker, where I mainly get to hunt on weekends. Does anyone hunt the entire season, every day?

I have a job like everyone else does. I choose to save up all of my vacation for use during duck season. I've been averaging 40 days a season for the last five season now.
Plus, I can be a little late coming into work if I need to. Cell phones are a great tool, aren't they?

Batteries? You mean that big heavy block in the back of the boat that we use to crank the Go Devil? I'd like a discount on those. If you're talking about the little cylinders in pilgrim decoys, I can't help you there. We're trying handmade cork decoys this year...they don't pull much current!

Never known a man that uses cork blocks! That shows you that I don't know any duck men with lots of money. I always wanted a few cork decoys, but couldn't come up with the cash (mine didn't look too good that I tried to make from fishing corks). I am glad that we have a few CEO duck hunters on this site that can use cork.
Shoot them sprits on their first pass!
