Most dominant athlete

Postby Bankermane » Sun Aug 20, 2006 7:57 am

Who do you think is the most dominant athlete today. For me , hands down, its Tiger Woods. When he's on, which he is, he's unbeatable. When the money's on the table he intimidates the field. Look for him to run the table today. Of course in duckhunting, hands down, I vote for Benny Marascalco. :D :D :D

I can't think of anyone better. Maybe Lance Armstrong would be in the same category, but I don't think any better than Tiger. Tiger is so good he is going to make me (a complete non golfer) go to see him play next year as I have added it to my to do before I die list. Now I just have to figure out where is the best place to travel to and see him play. Anyone know anything about golf that would have suggestions on this? (not to hijack the topic or anything)

A golfer is NOT an athlete ---he's a ......well.... golfer. About two rungs up from a bowler.

And Benny is a "special olympics" champion.

I'll have to 2nd what Po Monk said, golfers aren't athletes, far from it. I put them in the same category as bowlers and billiards. If it wasn't for that little white ball, do you know what golf would actually be called? WALKING !!!

Anybody can walk around a golf course and hit a ball.
