My friend that I hunt with has a Ranger and it has put us in alot of places that I didn't think that we would get to. I don't know anything about the other two. I am sure some of these folks will put some of their thoughts on this topic.

Go to Polaris ' website and watch their comparison video...pretty cool.
My dad just got the ranger because of its water capabilities and overall ride.

You could just put a snorkel on anything you got and it wouldnt matter.

To be honest you need a fourwheeler if your going to be in rice fields. I have a ranger and love it but they are alot heavier that a fourwheeler and harder to get unstuck.... especially in mississppi gumbo. I would buy the ranger over a mule any day. They have more power, can go more places, tow more, haul more, just generally better. I don't have any experience with the rihno though. We have never had any problems with our ranger for the past three years we've had it. I think they are made a better than the polaris fourwheelers dependibility wise.

for what it's worth.. here's my opinion.. mule... it'll last an good mile in a good corn, rice, bean field before bog'n up with some good ol gumbo or buckshot mud... rhino, ranger and the prowler.. my experience with a ranger is great.. i know it is a polaris and they ain't got the best history.. but far as a utv.. i think they're ahead of the game. it has the height to keep from balling up with mud in a field, the ride and plenty of power. far as the rhino.. i almost bought one 2 weeks ago until i drove one up at duck camp. it's extremely noisey, hot, and feels like it's in a bind all the time.. kinda like it ain't got enough power or something. the ride wasn't all that great either.. now i really like the prowler that arctic cat came out with but i know nothing about it other than it has great finder clearance from the tires and the options such as doors, racks etc. appear to be of higher quality than the other brands.. all in all... i'd have to say if i was gonna buy a utv tomorrow i'd have to go with ranger..

Check in on the minitrucks being imported from japan. Standard trans. with great torque. You can mount 4-wheeler wheels on them, not to mention a heated cab!

A friend of mine has a ranger and its nice. We have put it through stuff in the south delta that I wouldn't think it would have made it through and it had no problems with it. It can also hold grown men, the rhino can only take riders.
