Saw this on another site.

Feds allowing States 60day 6ducks
Well the Fed's say a liberal season again this year it will be a 60day 6duck limit with the ability to go to January 26th .
Man this is a suprise to say the least with all the early predictions you know MS and LA will take the full 60 and 6 ducks do you think AR will and if so will we take the latter season as well ?
I think that they will do both due to the $$$$$ as the state is needing all the extra tax dollars it can get just to keep going since the down turn in the economy.
What do you think?

Not yet
Actually what you are talking about is only the recommendation of The AHM (Adaptive Harvest Management) Working Group, which is made up of state and federal biologists and managers across the country, who have been meeting routinely since it was formed. Their primary function is to monitor and improve the process, and as specialists, keep everyone informed of the progress being made, determine where the problems are, try to come up with corrections, and make recommendations on how to proceed.

They will recommend to the USFWS that we be allowed a liberal season.

Although historically the USFWS almost always follows the lead of the AMH Group, it is not still set in stone that we will be allowed the 60 day season..... That is still yet to be determined....
