Prayers Needed

Postby Haymaker » Fri Jul 19, 2002 3:24 pm

Fellas,

My aunt had a stroke yesterday and she is currently in Leflore County Hospital. The stroke has affected the left side of her body. From what the doctor is telling us she has lost the use of her left arm and it has affected her left leg, the left side of her face as well as her speach. They started stroke rehab this morning and said that she would be in the hospital for at least the next couple of weeks.

Please keep her in your prayers as she recovers and maybe she will recover more than the doctors think that she will.

Thanks in advance,

Darrell

Just wanted to give everyone a quick up date on my Aunt Flora Morgan, the stroke has left her unable to swallow and has affected the left side of her body. Surgery is going to be done on Tuesday to put a feeding tube into her stomach. The doctors have said that she will need 24 hour care the rest of her life and that she will not regain the use of her left arm. They have also said that if things go well in physical therapy she maybe able to walk again with the aid of some type of walker. We as a family are praying that we will be able to find some type of home health care so that we may take her back home where she will be happiest.

I would like to thank everyone for their prayers as we go through this rough time.

Thank you,

Darrell

sorry to hear the report.... stick beside her and we hope that everything will work out for your family.... bless her heart, she will be dependent on someone to care for her and it will be the decision of the family to see her cared for...{been there just lately} don't sell Aunt Flora short, she may just decide to get better and do for her-self..... bless you.....
