I was wondering if any of you had heard anything on president Bush signing bills involving the crp or any other bills concerning ducks? A friend of mine @ a cookout last night ask me if I had heard anything about it.Just looking for some info if any of you have it.

Some highlights from the 'Farm Bill' (as contained in an article from the most recent issue of DU, recieved July 5th) is as follows;<UL TYPE=SQUARE><LI>WRP-$1.5 billion in new funding for the Wetlands Reserve Program, which will increase the total acreage from 1.075 million to 2.275 million acres.<LI>CRP-$1.517 billion will fund the Conservation Reserve Program and will increase the total enrollment from 36.4million to 39.2 million acres.<LI>GRP-$254 million for the new Grasslands Reserve Program, which will enroll up to 2 million ac of grassland in 10-,15-,20-, and 30-year contracts, as well as permanent easements.<LI>WHIP-$700 million for the Wildlife Habitat Incentives Program, a popular cost-share program that supports fish and wildlife conservation on private lands.</UL>
