Notice you did not have a smart booty remark from yesterday but that the Canes blew it.

You gotta know Jeff Brantley hated calling that game in Oxford tonight. Again tonight I thought the Umpire behind the plate was terrible. He showed more consistency than last nights ump, but that strike 6 inches outside was terrible.

I actually thought the ump didn't pretty well tonight. Strikezone didn't seem to bother Miami tonight.

He was consistent. Ole Miss just did not throw enough outside pitches I guess

the one thing I can say about the umpires the last 2 games were that they called it both ways, sometimes the calls were a bit off but were called both ways. Should be a good game tomorrow

Some bad mojo hit Oxford tonight. But, to counter it, we really do need Jeff publicly bad mouthing the Rebs. Good job Jeff, on the cross- mojoination. We should be right back in the groove tommorrow night.

Tonight was clearly not the Rebels night. Ump, no matter how bad, really had no outcome on a game this one-sided. IMO, the calls were more consistent tonight for both teams. Still not as good as the umpiring we had in the SEC tourney, but not too bad. We just did not hit the ball ---at least to the right spots. Had our chances and blew them. Bases loaded, with one out, and one of our power hitters dribbles a grounder into a double play. Pretty much a capsule of the entire night.

Rebs must now regroup, get behind starter Lynn, and find a way to win tommorrow night.

Good night.

like pomonk said.. we just didnt' get hits when we needed to.... they got texas league singles, we couldn't get them to fall, they got foul balls for outs, they were just out of our reach, etc.......

by the way jeff... where was the MSU team tonight ? 1st place to where ??

What was the score of the State game last night? Oh that's right once again they are at home while the Rebels season continues.
