Spike Rush

How good of a moist soil plant is spike rush for waterfowl. Also how would you control if needed to?

Large spikerush has very little value and is considered a problem weed once stands become thick. The smaller spikerush species has a green forage value as well as seed.
Are we gonna get wet?

Control best by drying out the hole or disking.
