My buddies went last Monday. I couldn't go because I had a meeting that afternoon. They caught 3 and the biggest was 12lbs.

They got 5 boxes out and have ran them one time that I have heard about and caught 3 that were supposedly around 25-30 lbs each...and lost 2 big ones. I haven't gone with them yet, but I will here soon.

Anybody read the article in the Ledger yesterday about grabbling on Wolf Lake?

Anyone notice anything illegal about how they were catching the fish?

1. Blocking the holes in stumps with nylon bags filled with rags and foam
2. Using a metal tipped rope to poke through the fish's mouth

You can't alter any natural cavity by placing of boards or wire or anything else to block the hole except your body. And you can only use hand or rope (no attachments) to catch the fish.

Just and FYI in case some of you read it.

I read it which is why I asked if anyone had been going. There were a little incremenating in the article. But the kid got b!tch slapped by his fish so I guess the score is even.

I didn't write the law, dude. Frankly, I think you ought to be automatically admitted to Whitfield if you are caught reaching in a stump hole for catfish or whatever else may be in there.
