* Pigott, making just his second career start, turned in an impressive career-first complete-game pitching performance in leading No. 21 Mississippi State to a series-clinching 8-1 win over Florida

* Needed just 83 pitches to go the distance against the Gators, allowing one unearned run and three singles with no walks and two strikeouts....faced four batters over the minimum.
