Anyone besides me out there have "buddies" that love to take everything said to them and manipulate it to serve their own purpose....just curious?

I don't believe they would be around me long enough to earn the title "buddy" if'n they were like that.
The older I get, the less I can tolerate being around folks I don't want to be around. And, if they take exception to your not wanting to be around them...I have learned the value and economy of honesty and find more and more use for a comment from a cowboy, "You can't imagine how much I don't care!"
Just be choosier about who you hang out with, and don't hang on to those you don't want to hang around with.

too much negative energy and they are cut from my circle the fun ribbing is cool but there comes a point and its easy to distinguish that point people should make u happy and if they dont sendem packin!
