Being the shiznit or whatever. What happens when you go from # 1 in the country to maybe not even making the SECT. If State does not pick up their game it could very well happen

and with whom would that be with.

Truth is the Hogs have shot themselves in the foot all season, shoulda been a sweep this weekend.

Well I agreed at the beginning of the year about ole miss getting better as the season went along, I just didn't think State would drop off this fast. Bianco appears to be a great coach and is changing his game and strategies to match his talent....just took those young guys a little while to come around, they're a strong team right now. State on the other hand has let the weaknesses at the bigenning of the season haunt them even more (men left on base, getting behind in the count, giving the other team runs). Not bashing state, but they just have not been playing good baseball here lately, the error today by the second baseman cost us two runs, the passed balls cost us atleast one b/c it moved the runners around. Personnally I think its just mental at this point and they need a good weekend to come out of it, but I guess we'll see. With ole miss coming on strong and state trying to refind their place it should make for an interesting series in May.

I'd rather make the tournament, play in (possibly host) a regional, and have a shot at Omaha than sit at home and talk schit about how my team was ranked #1 before conference play ate my booty alive.

Just me though. MSU mileage may vary.

Greenhead, good try buddy, but you better just shut up on this one! Our team sucks because our coach has been passed by. He has lost perspective...

Tell you what State fans, we will trade you Raymond "Smoke" Laval plus three brand new baseballs, a case of Abita Amber, a huge pot of gumbo, three cases of boudin and one duck hunt on White Lake for Polk and some cheese.

Any takers?
