I just got in to see where he hit a bomb in the btm of the 9th to win it 9-8.
Last time I listened to it Arkie had taken the lead 8-7.

Yep he came through for the team but it should have never came down to it, if Polk wouldn't have brought F*&%ing Clevland in we wouldn't have had to play the bottom of the 9th. Hell fire Memphis hit him hard this past week so why should Ark. be any diff. I myself am a big fan of Pigots, he is our closer as far as I am concerned.

so what, even if someone gets killed in one or two outings in a row, hell fire well ya like it or not cleavend gonna get a chance to work himself out of this he has been in the last couple of weeks...........
whether u like cleavend or not, he hit 95 about three weeks ago, that just moved him up on the draft board big time too.............

That SOB has never been a great pitcher, he had 1 good game since he has been at MSU and that was at Hoover durring the SEC championship game. We have got 3 good freshman and 1 hell of a closer but we dont ever see them b/c they are Freshmen

well agree to disagree, cleavend is a good arm and has alot of talent........nobody was bashing his ass when he was coming in and getting nine pitch innings in the past.........like i said eariler, if someone wants to worry bout pitching, worry bout dunn who has had a good outing in three straight weekends now.......

Might as well add Johnson and Lalor to the list. Heck, right now I would swap out my weekend rotation for Crosswhite, Weatherford and Lea.

yea, well i know he was yesterday, hit 91 once, but there again when u throw nearly 80 pitches in a mid week game and ur arm is use to only a 30 pitch bullpun and 10-15 pitches a game during the weekend, hes still gonna go pretty high in the draft.........my two cents

You can throw smoke all day if you want, but if you can't get hitters out.......pros aren't going to give you a hard look. I watched the guns a couple of games this season when he was pitching, never went over 88 and only hit in the 90's last season against UM in the championship game when he was so pumped up.
Another thing about Cleveland.....step back and look at the whole picture and tell me what you see. Brett is looking like "Fat Cat" Adam Larson everytime he pitches. If Brett could get rid of that beer gut he's got now he might could bend his back and add some mph's to his fastball.

Hell he is doing good to through strikes the last 10 games he's played in. And gh22 who wouldn't trade the 3 starters we have for our 3 freshman?

gh22, the scouts are goin to look at u if u have a dominant enuff fastball whether u get people out or not, roy oswalt couldnt throw a whole of strikes in high school, thats why he went to holmes, a juco school that by no means is known for baseball(not tryin to bash anyone that played there, but u prolly dont have a problem seein that either) he also didnt dominate at holmes either, all he had was a live arm, and he was drafted and people worked with him, so it can happen, pitching is prolly one of if not the only position u can get away with bein "overweight" and still be able to dominate the game, theres plenty of "overweight" pitchers in the league today, im not sayin by no means that he will be there, but he will have the chance........
