Bianco's Replacement

Postby stitch » Fri Mar 24, 2006 10:34 pm

For the sake of argument, let's just say Bianco goes to LSU, who would be his replacement?

He might not have a large enough name, but I have heard wonderful things about Mike Kinnison (sp) at Delta State. I think they have won 50 games or more for the last 4 or 5 seasons. Obviously that is D2 ball, but coaching is coaching.

I think Kinnison is up for a Div I job. He's probably forgot more than Kessinger knows...

Kessinger hasn't done much at Arkie St. and his father sucked as a coach, so I really don't see them bringing him in. I think any D1 coaching changes that happen, you have to take a hard look at Cohen at Kentucky.

Kessinger hasn't done much at Arkie St, but he sure did beat up on UM a couple of weeks ago.

As for Cohen.......he's maroon and white through and through, only place he'd leave UK for is MSU.

......Cohen is a Tuscaloosa boy, I'm sure he would head to Bama if given the chance.....I do know he hates Ole Miss (like the rest of the conference), so i don't think he'll end up there.....but I don't see him staying in KY forever.

What is with all the Bianco posts? Who said he was going anywhere? I must have missed his announcement, or LSU's announcement of Smoke being fired.

On the flip side, I guess it is good to have a coach who is perceived to be in high demand, and who is a topic of obsession, primarily by our rivals' fans, even during (so far) a record breaking season for MSU and a painful rebuilding year for UM. Go figure.
