LSU v. Duke

How bad does LSU get beat tonight by Duke? Do they have any chance to win the game? As an LSU fan, my pessimism has me thinking that the Tigers get beat by 10.

I also am a big LSU fan, but I am no fool and I know that the basketball season, for the men, ends tonight.

Anyway GEAUX TIGERS........................

Come on guys! Duke ain't that good. LSU matches up very well against em.

My prediction: Refs are generous with fouls. Shelden gets 3 in the first half trying to D up Davis, thus, allowing Big Baby to score 36 pts. Reddick matches Davis's contribution for his own team, but LSU's other starting 3 outdo Dukes'. LSU wins by 4.

Anyone else???

if both teams brang there "A" game i look for duke to win.. with that being said i think it will be a close game... thats about all you can ask for when playing the mighty blue devils is a chance to win the game at the end..

Duke will get some home cookin' with the refs so no need to worry about that. :lol:

As for the landlady, which is what the tar heels call him :lol: , he won't come close to fouling out in this game. In his 4 yr career I believe he has fouled out in less than 10 games.

in some ways i want lsu to win.. first off my padner grip is a big lsu fan so i know it'd sit good with him.. secondly, you got that sec connection, thirdly brady is a mississippi guy went to school at belhaven use to coach at msu.. 4th butch pierre.. good guy that i can remember playing at state back in the day..

with all that said keep in mind that we regulary go head to head with lsu in recuriting, so,,, i don't won't them gettin to big for their britches...

maybe they can play to a tie and the gym will burn down!!!

I guess I have a win/win situation. I am an LSU grad but I picked Duke in my bracket last week. I would rather lose in my bracket and have LSU in the Elite 8, but either way, I will not sleep bad tonight. Also, I would rather LSU lose to Duke, a basketball powerhouse, than lose to Texas in the Elite 8. I hate UT. Suck'm Horns!

True, true. But he does get in foul trouble often against another good big guy -- when the refs are actually impartial. More often than not, he gets away with more crap than anyone. I just think tonight might be different. :wink:

If all these prognostications fail, I really think it will be a close, fun game to watch.

I love LSU in this game I think T Thomas that freshman will be the X factor for lsu I see them winning if he shows up. I like LSU by 8 points.Call me crazy.
