I went to Herters web page, gonna do some shopping. What I found was that they referred you to cablea's. I have been buying from Cab for several years and have never seen the type stuff Herters carried. Makes you wonder if Cab bought Herters to put them out of business or are they really going to carry Herter stuff?

Has anyone else seen this?

they bought them out plain and simple... hopefully it will make ordering a little easier... possibly price will be along with ease... and maybe THEY WILL HAVE IT IN STOCK..........

It seems that Cabela's is becoming the Wal-Mart of hunting and outdoors supply stores...a [img]images/smiles/icon_eek.gif[/img]

Anything I buy on ordering 90% of the time comes from Cabelas. RN989 said somthing interesting too The wal mart of outdoors supplies. People might want to keep checking prices from other suppliers now and then. I have found out Wally world doesnt always have the lowest prices. I hope CAB doesnt go that route! Wing Supply has some good prices on things too!

I'll second the Wing Supply comment Wingman! I have shopped there for two years and have gotten excellent prices and fast shipping. They are top notch in my book.

Wing Supply puts out a catalog (actually, it looks like a local newspaper) and they do have good prices. Different from Mack's Prairie Wings over in Stuttgart. I think Wingsupply has a web site too although everything that have bought from them I ordered from their newspaper catalog.

I, too, have found Wing Supply to have good prices. Especially, if you can get your size in the closeouts! I try to shop end of the season stuff in Wing Supply just for those closeout specials.
