Tigers did pretty good. Won the Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year and Coach of the Year. Looking forward to the SEC and NCAA tournament.

Great season by LSU. Looks like sticking with Brady has finally paid off. There were some bumps in the road leading up to this season. And many LSU fans had lost faith in Brady's ability to coach them to an SEC title. But, at the time Brady started, LSU was on probation with severe scholarship cuts, and fielding a small roster of scholarship players (some very talented) with some walk-ons for depth. It took more than a couple of years to right the ship.
Congrats to Brady and the LSU Tigers. Well done.

I will admit that I have been critical of Brady, but this is yet another illustration that sticking with a coach as opposed to going after the new flavor of the month can pay off if you hire the right person to begin with. Crow doesn't taste too good. When you are dealing with 18-22 year olds, you are going to have some ups and downs, especially in basketball. Even Duke has an "off-season" by their standards every now and then.
LSU has had a good season and should have Brandon Bass on the roster as well. I can only imagine. I hope they can carry the momentum into the Dance. I will say this in slight criticism of Brady, they still play ugly basketball.
