Nice job Bobby Cleveland

Couple of Sundays ago, on the back page of the sports section of the Clarion Ledger, the Outdoor section covered Eagle Lake. Seemed to old Bobby that the Hybrid Stiper population is just teeming in this lake. Now I'll tell ya' that there is a few in here, but alot of people don't fish for them or don't know they are there. The last of the 3 days Mr. Cleveland was here was a good one. Stripers were blowing the water up everywhere so I took my kids down on the pier to let them reel a few in. Bobby and his compadres proceed to troll right off the end of the pier and push away the feeding frenzy to the dissappointment of my kids and myself. Well, apparently a lot of people read the paper because people are trolling their butts off all over the lake now. In the length of the article he never mentioned the size limit or bag limit for these paticular fish as being 17" or better and a limit of 3. At a local landing just down the road from me, owner says he estimated last weekend a 1000 fish a day leaving the lake with some livewells having as many as 25 fish. Game wardens have been notified as well as an informative letter to Mr. Cleveland to include all info in his articles. He also elaborated on handgrabbing in the article below the Hybrid article but never mentioned the dangers involved.
