I am not trying to start a fight or anything else, just making a comment. It really doesn't matter how many commitments anybody gets, especially at this time of year, because NOBODY can sign a letter until next February and even then if they do sign WILL THEY have the GRADES????
Personally i'm and LSU FAN, GEAUX TIGERS, but would love for Ole Miss and MSU for that matter to have some good football teams, because that would help the SEC as a whole and would make for some good ball game when we play them.

oooookeeeeeeedooookeeeeee
I disagree --I think it does matter --to the kids. The latest commits, in their interviews, are stating that the fact that other such good players are committing to UM has influenced them to commit. Sort of a snow ball effect.
But, what do I know. Only that the old way of doing things has brought us this number of SEC titles since the 1960s ------ZERO.
And if it doesn't matter, why are so many of our rivals' fans getting so worked up about it? Hey, why worry? It doesn't really matter. This is the time of year for your coach to be out playing golf, relaxing, meeting with the alum groups, etc. etc. And while they are out doing that, keep in mind that Coach O is out beating the bushes trying to find some football players who want to play at UM. But, never fear, it doesn't matter. Don't worry, be happy.
