another El-Nino confirmed

Well JB, that's definitely cause for concern, but don't despair......yet.

If memory serves me correctly (or at all), the Fall-flight began an up-turn in '97....AND we enjoyed some pretty 'ducky' weather over here in the eastern part of the state despite the 'promise' of El Nino-like symptoms.

According to the report in the link, this El Nino event is not expected to be as significant as the one in '97. (Truth is, I have about as much faith in weather forecasts as I do in Greenhead22's SEC pre-season picks ......or any of his picks, for that matter). BWAAAHAHAhahaha!!

I think it also helps to realize that there's a multitude of other influences on duck production besides weather patterns, although water does seem to be the most important ingredient.

I'm particularly encouraged by the recent rain/snowfall up North. Although it may not be enough....it's better than nothing. Let's just hope for the best. Thanks for sharing the link.
