Hey Pewee
Good idea. Your exactly right. I know we can run all of my stuff and have about 90 catches on video. I'm not sure if the people wanna see us jerking little blues out of barrels though. People are looking for the danger element in it if they are watching a video of something they think is crazy.

QM, you've been grabbing up at Washington, not Eagle, right? Have those fish gotten any bigger in the past 3-4 years? Last time I went up there we caught some shawl nuff small ones.

Big Mule, I went up to Washington once last year and caught about 50. Half were little ones but there was mainly small stuff to grab out of. We were gonna put our stuff up there but it will just have to wait until I can get a boat. Makes it hard relying on other people to go out. We fixing to drop over 100 pieces out here in the next few days. Hopefully they started on it yesterday.

I grab in both places. Fish average a good bit bigger in eagle but washington is cleaner, with a good sandy bottom in most places.

Guys,
Just a heads up, but depending on the type of material you are putting in the water (non-biodegradeable) you could be cited for littering. Wood structures are OK, but items like Freon bottles, hot water heater or plastic barrels are not. Some areas of the State also cite for the obstruction of a water way. If you need more information call the MDWFP at 601-432-2400.

Peewee, waiting on someone else to show up with a boat so you can go somewhere aint worth a damn. I am in the same situation as you are.
I used to keep a good bit of stuff up at Eagle, but the last time I went to it the barrels had sunk way down in the mud (top holes) and there wasn't really even enough room for fish to get in them. I tried to pull them up but they were silted in so deep I couldn't budge them. I am going to get a couple more people to go with me one day and try to pull 'em up again. I hate to let a bunch of good barrels go to waste because its a lot of work getting them loaded up, cut, loaded up again, unloaded at the lake, put into a boat, driven out there, etc., etc......
I don't know if your talking about putting any pieces out up at Eagle, but if you do remember that the water is supposed to be high at Eagle right now (from what i've heard), so you need to be sure that you don't put them out somewhere where it will be too shallow to grab when the water receeds.
