How about MSU basketball. It is starting to rank right up there with the Football program. All I can say is thank God for baseball season right around the corner.

We don't want to jinx that program either.

I knew we (MSU) wouldn't be as good as we were the last couple of years, but I thought we would win our share of games. Two wins (so far) in the SEC is not gonna make it. MSU is young and I hope experience will see results down the road.

LSU will start to slide now. They finally played somebody that gave them a challenge.

Give credit to Bama for the win, but I would hardly call is a "smack". LSU has a very good starting 5, but is lacking depth. Still, I will take 8-1 in the conference any day.

If you want to talk lack of depth, just look at Bama. Only 7 scholarshiped players.

niggerdog..

its obvious too me that u haven't watched much msu football over the last 5 years or much msu basketball over the last 5 years..

theres no real comparison..

matter of fact, this msu basketball team still has a reasonable shot at reaching the n.i.t... that would be quite an accomplishment, considering that we lost 90% of our scoring and rebounding from last years team...

you reaching for something thats no quite there..

but good try anyway!!!

I know there is a disticnt difference in the football and basketball team and I am die hard win or lose. Its just a down year for basketball. We will be hard pressed to make the NIT, but I do believe we are getting better. Just a young team. They just need a little time. Oh yeah, I almost forgot...MSU 35-Ole Miss 21, so that's all that really matters anyway.
