He Was Slick

Went to my sister's this morning (just south of Tylertown, MS.). He gobbled the first time at 6:15. When he flew down, he never moved. If anything sounded off, he would let them have it, must have gobbled 60-70 times. Sometimes a double and sometimes a triple gobble. At about 9:00 o'clock he went silent and that was it. He never moved my way. I think that old boy might have been hunted before, or it might have been that he knew that the hen should have come to him. I hope all of you had a better morning.
