Vince Young. Wow. I've never seen a player take his team on his back like he did tonight.
Matt Leinert still thinks that he played for the best team. You got schooled pretty boy, now take your beating like a man.

I wouldn't say he got schooled........ hell of a game from the players...... one of the worst officiated games i've seen in a while..... for both teams. Youngs knee was down, homeboy fumbled the pass too. You don't turn around and dive and fight to the bottom of a pile on a pass you just dropped. Also, there was an interception that should have been given to texas that they doped up on. Regardless, good game, congrats to texas.

Based on what I saw last night, that trophy should be in Vince Young's trophy case, not Reggie Bush.

Anybody see the pre-game skit with Will Ferrell?
"Whats that?....I can't hear you...I have a Heisman trophy in my ear"
Hilarious!

Reviewing plays that didn't need reviewing, and refusing to review plays that needed reviewing.........priceless.

I fairly certain they were Big 10 officials.

Matt Leinert played pretty well. But he was completely overshadowed by Vince Young. If USC had won, the MVP would have gone to Lindale White, not Leinert. I haven't like Leinert all year, but his post game crap about USC being the best team was bullschit. He got beat, his team got beat by a superior team from Texas. He, like everybody else in the sports media, drank the damn USC Kool-Aid and actually thought they were invincible.
Heisman voters are looking pretty damn foolish right now.

He would be crazy to come back. He has the hot name right now. Besides winning the Heisman, what more could he do. Proven that more times than not, real good junior players see there stock fall in the draft when staying for there senior season. He said earlier in the year he was coming back to Texas, but that guy better grab the money and go now.

like Eli ? Deuce ? Smoot ?
it's about 50/50, if they have another solid season, their stock doesn't drop becasue of a poor performance, it drops because someone else stepped up, which isn't as likely in his position, remember, spurlock is graduating and connor is now a WR

Eli, Deuce, and Smoot were not going to go in the first 10 picks their junior year. No doubt they improved their status by coming back for another year. When you are at the top, the only place to go is down. DeAngelo up at Memphis has helped his stock as well. After watching Bush last night and Leinhart all season, if I was told I could go in the first round, I would be crazy to come back for another season.

The other RB at USC (forget his name), is it just me or does he seem to be a better fit as a pro RB than Bush? Have not watched every play of USC, but that guy is a hoss of a back. Looked like to me that once USC ran up on a tough physical type team, Bush was no. 2 behind this guy. On the fourth down play, Bush was not even on the field. Isn't the Heisman Trophy winner supposed to be THE go-to guy?

If USC had been able to win the battle of the big men (Line of Scrimmage)...I imagine Reggie would have had a great night...but the O-Line was gettin' whooped and the Defense was in position when they needed to be.... put him behind a powerful NFL O-Line and he'll have no problem.... Lendale White is a big tough runner who doesn't need all of the lead blocking that Bush does...but being big and tough in college and in the NFL is 2 different things...same can be said for fast....
I imagine Young won't be the first QB chosen if he waits until next year...not with Brady Quinn around, the NFL scouts are already in love with him

.... I figure he'll reconsider and turn pro...there is a lot that can happen to a QB in a year...of course he could make it 2 in a row if he stays....
Right now he is hot...that can mean a lot.....
