Tell me about it. The field just to the west of the cornfield is mine, and I been looking at them all year. Going to get some in the morning though, they were hitting on of my holes hard this afternoon.

I was south of the highway the other day with MSUDOG. Sounded like yall got in them then. I think it was Friday. There had to be over ten thousand then. What the hell is the Feds doing planting those corn fields? It looks like they are tryin to keep a fella from killing a duck. Some of Dblr's old friends no doubt. What you say dblr? Call and tell them to plant for the hunters too.

Oh and flooding up the fields would be nice! :?

We used to farm everything south of the highway before it was a refuge. We never paid any rent on it, but the deal was we had to leave part of the crop in the field. The man that is still working the north part is just doing what they told him. They have been planting corn on that thing for years and just leaving it in the field for the ducks and deer. There is a bunch of land north of the highway, and east of Tippo Bayou that alot of people don't even know about. Its all closed to hunting, but there are alot of big deer on that thing.

I went Tuesday morning and wupped up on them pretty good, ducks that is. I used to hate seeing all those ducks in that field, knowing that I couldn't shoot at them. Now I like having them there, kind of like a resting pond for them. That thing fills up and the rest of the ducks have to go somewhere else, like one of my holes.

8) Hunted up by Brazil on 1/3 - It was hot!!! Saw thousands of geese, far less ducks, but my partner and I did manage to bag 2 fat greenheads and 2 greenwing teal.
