I met Dr. Hardy when my Dad was in med school back in the mid 70's. Pretty cool guy and smart as they come.

Seen those posters for several years. They are posted in the halls of lots of the elementary and middle schools.

I LOVE MY MISSISSIPPI DELTA 
i like that site i sent it to several of my friends and family members

That is cool! We moved to Mississippi a little over a year ago. Did not know anyone here when we moved but everyone has been so good to us!
The state gets a lot of bad press from the rest of the country. But We LOVE it here!
One small correction on the sides. There is some Hog calling in Mississippi! We just might not be very loud this year. It's going to be a LONG year for our Razorbacks!

W.C. Handy was born and raised in Florence, Alabama...he is not a Mississippian, granted he did spend a lot of time and energy in Mississippi, but the article says "the blues were born here"
