Went down to Grand Isle on Wednesday A.M. We started to fish in the surf around 2:00 P.M. The specks were there and things were looking good. However, (as is my luck) at 4:00 or so, the wind moved around to the southeast and was blowing. This ended the fishing. Not a fish on Thrusday during the day. A few Thrusday night off of the bridge. Friday morning was even worse (if that is possible) and I came hone. One of these days, before the summer is over, I hope to catch a few fish. I hope all of you boys and girls are having better luck. Have a good week and post some good reports (that would make me happy).

Shoot them sprigs on their first pass!

Jack any time you want to head over to the best bank, we have been catching reds and flounder on a pretty consistent basis. The trout have been real good to okay. I can tell ya where to go if ya want. Grand Isle sure is fun, but boy the wron wind and you are cooked over there for sure.

Tough luck, Jack. We are catching lots of flounder and reds, not so many specs right now. I think they must all be out on the middlegrounds.
