Went to the rez this morning to hang out by myself.....yday, i stopped by a local sporting goods store and lo and behold...this place had 14 boxes of OLD 10 guage 3 1/2 lead for 4 bucks a box.....called Torch as he does alot ( ) of turkey hunting and he asked me to pick them up and he would pay me back.

Shells were laying in my back seat of my F250.....as i came out of the hole this morning...ole wiley greentruck was waiting.....i fired too much to only have killed what i had .....he joked with me a little.....then he asked to see my license which was in the truck.....i was removing waders when he noticed the brown box in my back seat......TICKET TIME

even though the boxes were sealed, i had a deteiled receipt which accounted for all the shells and none were missing....now i have a nice court date and he took my ammo?

QUESTION: SOULD TORCH PAY ME BACK????

If they were not on your person while you were hunting, I dont know how they can charge you with it.

I'm glad we have game wardens, referees, or whatever you want to call them. But, it burns my ass when you hear a story like that. IF you weren't shooting lead, you weren't shooting lead.

Greenhead all I really want to know is ..... will I get my ammo back by Turkey season? Man I feel for you and I feel responsible. I am one of these guys, where if something is a deal I will buy it regardless. I can always sell them here in the store. Those shells would cost me around 16 bucks a box wholesale.

yes....i use a 10 guage.....i actually acted like an %$# after he wrote the ticket.....told him to cut open the birds......my problem is that the reciept was on the truck....it clearly stated 14 boxes.......and NO shells were missing!!!!

By the way Greenhead I have asked some of my local wardens and they are working on it for me. I just don't want my wife to find out, she doesn't like me hanging out with OUTLAWS

For guys, that go one road trips and live out of there trucks for a week, while hunting ducks in the mornigs, and quail in the pm's.

What is the proper procedure for guys like this?
