N. Arkansas and North has been locked up for over a week. Where are all the ducks We should be seeing large numbers of flight ducks and we are not. Outlaw and myself road 30 miles on the river Sat. PM and didn't see a handful. Anybody got any theories on this one?

With LA in their split I imagine a lot of birds were sittingfat and happy in the rice over there. I have reports from NW LA, Central LA and South LA, as well as Central and North AR of unholy number of birds. But like folks said, its a matter of water. Sure, there is water in the river, but alot of the prime ground is high and dry. I bet activity will pick up once LA starts shooting again.

We are looking at another big snow maker up here in IL, anything left up here should boogie after it hits. They will put up with 3-6 inches of snow, but after this one we could be looking at 9-12 on the ground.

Hope it picks up,

Tupe

Torch, I'm glad I'm not the only one with the same results....hunted private from teddy bear land all the way to swift city without that much happening....most we did was three in one hunt....no flight ducks to speak of...

We are having the best season since 1999. I have hunted 9 times and limited 8 of them. Mostly in different places.

...there are some around...got a good report from SE Ark today.... but still not what I was hoping for (you know, the one "birds look like a tornado fallin' into the whole)...then again it is just the first half of December, if the midwest keeps gettin' hammered...it might get right....

...failing that ask gator he knows where they are....
