I am in the process of getting a Delta Waterfowl Chapter organized in the Tupelo / Northest MS area. I have requested written materials from Delta necessary to form the chapter. If anyone else is doing the same thing, let me know and we can coordinate our efforts. As soon as I receive the materials from Delta, I will schedule an informal organizational meeting to sign up new members
and get the chapter started. Probably a cookout.

Anyone that is interested in joining, helping, etc., please send me an email with your name, address, and phone number and let me know what your level of interest is --eg membership only, committee, etc. Once a date and location has been set, I will send a notice to the persons who have provided me with their address, and will also post it on this site, if Micah does not mind.

This is going to be a low pressure, laid back, relaxing kind of thing. No pressure to buy anything, sell anything, or compete with other chapters. Just a fun group, working with a good conservation group, to raise some money to help the ducks. Depending on when the stuff arrives from Delta, I envision the meeting taking place before June so that a youth hunt sponsored by the new chapter can be organized prior to the next duck season. Look forward to hearing from some of you.

Max, I will be glad to help you...I will do whatever you need to help start a chapter, be on the committee or whatever. I have helped on the Tupelo DU committee for the last 2 years and will help if you want me to..
