fact 1... Willis has not said he was going pro yet, on the other hand, he has said repeatedly that he would like to stay at Ole Miss....
fact 2... you can twist the phone call to tulane all you want, no wrong was done

Oh yes, there was a wrong done. You don't call a university that just got devastated by one of the worst hurricanes in history, asking about what players you can take off their hands........you don't do that. You can spin it all you want about the law school deal, and the undergrad deal and such transfers, but Zero was headhunting for players, simple as that. He knew what he was doing, and Boone and Khayat spun it off as a good samaritan deal, and it was far from it. Even if Zero got some of the players, they would have to sit out a year more than likely unless the NCAA got a change of heart. If that's how he plans on continuing his reign as the #1 recruiter in the nation, then he's in for a sad surprise.
He wasn't looking out for the academics of the players, he was looking for players to step in and boost his team.
Oh and btw.........finally saw his Hummer commercial last night, it was bad bad bad.

And another thing, if there is nothing to this Tulane deal then why was it such a big discussion on ESPN Radio today where the guys blasted UM for what the did. I don't believe ESPN would go to blasting a university if they were looking out on behalf of the students.

First, The Tulane deal was blown out of proportion by the media,
Second, Orgeron was not the only coach nor was Ole Miss the only school involved,
Third, Scelfo himself is the one that started the rumor that Tulane may not have a football program next year
Fourth, None of the actual conversation has been posted, the SEC cleared the accusation almost immediately
Fifth, you say Boone and Khayat are trying to spin it one way, isn't that exactly what you're doing yourself ??

There's nothing to spin.......UM called Tulane about players, not illegal but totally wrong. I know UM's not the only school that called about players, but the other schools were "smart" in how they carried out their discussions, unlike Zero who came right out and said y'all have a great qb don't you, wonder if he'd be interested in coming up here if your program goes out? If he's looking for Tulane players to help make him a winning coach, then he is really, really hurting in his recruiting, and this loss to MSU only hurt him more in-state.
The SEC cleard UM of wrongdoing so they would look any worse than they already do in this situation.

you have a va-ja-ja, and it is blue and red.......
I guess you know more about Ole Miss than every Ole Miss fan on this board put together and were in the room when the phone call took place....

I say if he was doing it 2 boost his team, good for him, my money is 4 him to build a winning program at Ole Miss...sounds to me like he is after the best available student athletes to do that...SEC & NCAA have cleared it all & all the BS is nothing but talk show entertaining pot stirring with media, so I & I bet O could care less what u or those weak booty wanna be know-it-all sportscasters at ESPN think about something he did that wasn't illegal by any rules...
and by the way, ESPN will say whatever they can about a school (especially a southern non-glamorous one) to garner viewers/listeners...cut throat, your dumb to think otherwise!
